The recipe above includes links to the exact materials we use. Below is a list of tools that we commonly use:

Planetary Concrete Countertop Polisher https://amzn.to/2VcqkJf – We use a 3 headed concrete polisher because its quicker and makes it easier to get a consistent finish. We used a single headed grinder ( like this one https://amzn.to/2BMnvW5 ) for years and it worked fine too. It’s just a little slower and takes a little more finesse than the planetary grinder. This grinder is perfect for DIYers who don’t need an expensive concrete countertop grinder.

200 Grit 4″ Diamond Resin Pads https://amzn.to/2s0sw9e – You may want to get 50 grit and 100 grit pads too… but it all depends on how much sand you want to expose on the countertop. For what its worth, I usually only use 200 grit. These should last for a couple of kitchens. They aren’t really high quality or anything… but they will get the job done.

Dewalt Hepa Vacuum https://amzn.to/2BylJI9 – My favorite vacuum. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It pulses periodically to clean the filter. We attach this to our grinder to control the dust while we are grinding. We use it on our flooring projects too. Its an awesome tool.

Dewalt Hepa Filters https://amzn.to/2QLq9WK – Replacement filters for the Dewalt vac.

Nitrile Raven Powder-Free Disposable Gloves https://amzn.to/2Lw5EY7 – I wear these black gloves all the time on every job. Buy the XL size. These are usually around $18/box at a local hardware store. You can get them on Amazon for just under $10.

Dewalt Track Saw https://amzn.to/2AdjYAd – We use this track saw to get perfectly straight cuts when we form concrete countertops. You simply attach the track https://amzn.to/2SlN5bH (sold seperatly) directly to the melamine with these clamps https://amzn.to/2QIM1St (also sold separately) and you can get perfectly straight cuts every time.

Wooster Foam Rollers https://amzn.to/2GI9MFH – We use foam rollers with our concertop sealer. Don’t forget the roller frame. https://amzn.to/2BKTAxz

Any additional information about the specific concrete admixes, concrete materials and sealer that we used is contained in the recipe.
